Team Dinners

Team dinners are a fun way for the team to build comradery and spend informal time together outside of practice and games. Families volunteer to host a dinner, usually after practice the night before a game. You can also co-host with another family if you’d like. These are casual events that are just for each team’s players, with the coach invited to attend as well. In the past we have had fun with spaghetti dinners, pizza, taco bars, sandwich bars, or anything else you can think of. If you’re interested in hosting, please contact your team parent!

Homecoming

Homecoming is held every fall, and the men’s and women’s teams participate in the homecoming parade together, building a float and walking in the parade. The theme is announced in the fall, and the players decide on a float design and wear costumes or spirit wear in the parade. Players enjoy bringing candy to pass out to spectators along the route. Get in touch with your team parent if you’d like to help with the parade!

Bucks for Goals

One Mustang Soccer tradition of giving back is ‘Bucks for Goals.’ A parent volunteer brings a collection jar to each game, and passes it around every time that Mustang Soccer scores a goal! The money is collected till the end of the season, and the teams each decide on a local charity to donate the collection to. Get in touch with your team parent if you’d like to volunteer to bring the jar and collect the cash. Don’t forget to bring some dollars to the games to help celebrate Mustang goals!

Spirit Wear

Mustang Spirit Wear is available through the Mustang Club. Show your Mustang pride with t-shirts, hoodies, hats, and more. Additional, soccer-specific spirit wear will be offered by the team, which helps us raise funds for the team. Plan to participate in our white out, gold out, and pink out games! Contact your team parent if you’d like to help out with soccer Spirit Wear!

Yard Signs

Yard signs are a great way to celebrate your Mustang soccer player. Purchase an official Blue Valley North yard sign from the Mustang Club.
